LOGI is an acronym for "Low Glycemic and Insulinemic".
Characteristic for the LOGI-method is a low blood sugar. People who live and eat according to this method avoid extremely variable blood glucose levels as well as keep their insulin level balanced. This in turn prevents the unwanted intake of caloires.
To help you understand this eating method, the LOGI pyramid was invented.
It visually shows and explaines this method. Starch-free and starch-reduced vegetables and fruits are the basis of the diet. You can eat as many servings of salads and vegetables as you want per day.
Fresh fruits should also be on your daily menu - however keep in mind that very sweet fruits contain more sugar and therefore have a higher level of carbohydrates, which in turn increases the glycemic load.
The general rule of your fruit and vegetable intake is "5 servings per day" whereby 3 of those servings should be vegetables and 2 servings fruit.
Within the LOGI diet at the hotel Dein Engel you'll have 3 meals per day included.
